At last there is a highly effective device available which can save both man and beast from death on the roads - the acoustic game warning reflector. The combination of optical flashing and intermittent audible signals provides a hitherto unsurpassed warning effect.

It is employed in combination with the well-known Deerblocker^® reflector. In this way, besides the optical warning acoustic danger signals are emitted when light impulses are received from vehicle headlights.

This simultaneous addressing of two main senses of perception in deer has produced convincing results in long and exhaustive field studies.

The audible game warning reflector is an electronic device, installed and sealed into a high-impact, weather-resistant ABS housing.

The approaching headlights of a car in the twilight or at night release an acoustic alarm which is clearly audible over a range of 50 to 100m for duration of approx. 1.5 seconds. This acoustic warning signal is easily perceived by the deer and stops them crossing the road during the time they could be endangered by the approaching vehicle.

The game warning reflector makes use of the sensetive hearing for which deer are celebrated, as well as their equally good visual perception, irrespective of weather or local topography This combination approach is the first to guarantee absolute security against deer movements without the need for artifical barries. Consequently, the natural enviroment and movement of these animals is not reduced or impaired in any way.

The game warning reflectors are set up in the middle of the usual game route alternately on each side of the road at intervals of 50m. They are installed in the guide posts facing away from the the road at each side (4-6 per game route).

The remaining guide posts are fitted as before with convention Deerblocker^® game warning reflectors.

Before first use the unit must be charged up outdoors by sunlight. After this, the solar cells automatically keep the device charged.
